Timehop - Memories Then & Now App Reviews

I have always loved time hop, its nice and funny to see my old statuses or pictures and talk about it with friends. However, this new update stinks. The retro video is just annoying and I dont care about it. Considering deleting the app just so I dont have to listen to a video when I scroll down. Its like an ad that wont go away.

Dear TimeHop, you dont actually know me so why would assume that I know, like or even care about the music video BLARING out of my phones speakers? I loved the app and used it daily until this.

The app sends fake notifications about taking a look at old photos from today, and all thats there is the retro video. Once you open the app, extremely loud music plays along with a really dumb video.

If my phone is on silent then why on earth does your "retro video" play full volume when I get to the bottom of my timehop? Come on, yall. This is rookie stuff.

Ive been using Timehop for a long time, I love being able to see this day in the past. However this new update is awful. I can get over not being able to save images easily, but retrovideo is the worst. Auto playing videos without an option to disable it is NOT COOL guys.

Old adage "if it aint broke, dont fix it". - what happened? Loud annoying pointless video without an option to suppress, remove, click to activate, etc.

Retro video is a good idea, but NOT overriding my sound settings and playing music automatically. When my office is SILENT and all of a sudden your video completely unexpectedly plays music (or whatever sound you decide to make play on my phone, even though its set to silent), I want to delete the app right then. Horrible addition. Dont think Ill be using the app anymore.

I hate the music with the stupid video. Why does music play regardless if my phone is on vibrate?

It was great until they added the autoplay video when you reach the bottom of your posts. What happened to the customizable frames and commentary? I cant even share half the posts now, making it mostly pointless.

Great app until the really loud retro video. Deleting this app if the retro doesnt go soon. I keep my phone on silent but the new update doesnt care whether I want my phone to make noise or not...

It crashes every time I open it and it creates problems with the iPhone when it goes in stand by! Please fix it, would be a pity to dont see the old memories...

No issues really. Not a fan of the retrovideo auto playing though.

I adore Time Hop but this new seat version crashes upon launch so I have not been able to use it for a few days now. Even after deleting and redownloading no luck.

The new retro video feature wasnt a good idea. There is no way to turn it off. Its very loud and annoying. Please either get rid of the feature or give the option to turn it off

Love time hop, but please for the love of god get rid of the auto playing retro video. Even if my phone is on vibrate I get a full blast of annoying and startling sound. Please please remove that feature or at least dont auto play it.
